This report presents the findings of the Religion and Public Opinion in Argentina survey, based on fieldwork conducted by Management & Fit during May 2026 and the analysis carried out by the Society, Culture and Religion Program at CEIL-CONICET. Drawing on a nationwide survey, the study examines the relationships between religious affiliation, social structure, and public opinion on some of the principal issues shaping contemporary Argentine society.
The report stems from an interest in understanding how religious beliefs intersect with the perceptions, expectations, and evaluations through which individuals make sense of social reality. Beyond religious practices and identities, its objective is to explore what the sociology of religion can contribute to the analysis of attitudes toward politics, the economy, the country’s current situation, future expectations, collective sentiments, and electoral behavior.
